Where leadership fails Everything crumbles

It is the reason why nations rise and others fall

Leadership is not just a word

From her first syllable to the last is riddled with action

It is the engine behind the great nations

It is the brain that thinks and the heart that feels

Not the hand that steals and is quick to subdue

Leadership drives peace her language is prosperity

She is like a woman she cuddles at every opportunity

Leadership sees the bigger picture

she builds the world for the future

Leadership builds bridges

She heals & mends thorn fabrics of her society

Leadership is justice, it is hope for our mothers

She holds sacred her people like the wombs that bare her ancestors

Leadership is everything wrong with us

For Nigeria it is a curse, a plague ravishing the best of us

Here leadership is politics because everything is politics

The lives of our sons & vaginas of our daughters

The future of our unborn and the hopes of our children

The drugs on the street & the rape of our sisters

The smart brains numbing & the ones jumping planes

The scorn of insurrection sweeping through every community

Leadership is our disease, it is police brutality

Leadership is a bastard, excuse my profanity

It is the profanity that has stolen the souls of our humanity

Leadership is everything we lack maybe the only thing we ask

Not the high walls & bars that condemns

But the white and blackboard that emancipates

Not the guns that takes away but the courage to build the way

Leadership is everything that has destroyed us, it is our curse

Leadership really benefits us

Divides us on tribal lines & set us against us

Leadership steals from us & points to our mothers in accusation

So, we kill & destroy us one community after the other 

In grandeur masculinity rapes our mothers in our before

With careless abandon scavenge all her orifice

Leadership is the blood flowing in our streams the scorn in the delta

Leadership is alma Jiri and VVF

To leadership we are all villains worth nothing

I hope we see that we are all victims

Despite who we are we are all victims

Leadership is everything wrong with us

She is the condition that bent the crayfish

Leadership is the reason we wish instead of reach
